During this interactive program, students will learn about the Declaration and why it is important. By analyzing National Archives records, students will explore some of the big ideas written in the Declaration of Independence, with a particular emphasis on how the Declaration’s language has continued to inspire Americans throughout history to bring about change in their own communities.

Civics for All of US virtual programs are available for groups of 10 to 45 students free of charge.
Each program will be led by one of our educators at the National Archives and requires that students complete a pre-program activity.
We require that the requesting educator or another educator from your institution be present during the student distance learning program to observe the session and support classroom management.
