During this interactive program, students will determine how and why women fought for the right to vote. Students will analyze National Archives records that highlight different stories in the women’s suffrage movement and discover why the fight for women’s voting rights persisted even after the ratification of the 19th Amendment.
Body
Civics for All of US virtual programs are available for groups of 10 to 45 students free of charge.
Each program will be led by one of our educators at the National Archives and requires that students complete a pre-program activity.
We require that the requesting educator or another educator from your institution be present during the student distance learning program to observe the session and support classroom management.
