This interactive program invites participants to consider how the Constitution established a framework for American democracy. Using primary sources, participants will examine how Americans have continually challenged, expanded, and redefined the meaning of “We the People” throughout history.

Join us for this virtual professional development workshop for 3-8 educators. 

Registration is free, and each program will be held via Zoom. After registering, an educator from the National Archives will contact you via email the week of the event to share the Zoom connection information. Registration will close on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Certificates of participation will be available by request.
